Events in Dudley From 20th April – 26th April 2026

### You can find live music, specialist workshops, and community gatherings across Dudley this week. Events include hands-on product demos in roofing technology at venues near Merry Hill Shopping Centre, while inclusive skate sessions are hosted by local youth groups on weekends. Nightlife features retro-themed events held at repurposed industrial spaces like the old railway warehouse now used for cultural performances. Weekly comedy bingo with drag performers takes place at a venue next to Dudley Canal Tunnel, part of ongoing efforts to convert underused sites into accessible community hubs. Talks on regional history are scheduled inside historic locations, including sections of the Dudley Canal Tunnel itself. These sessions use archived records from local heritage societies, covering past industries and how post-industrial redevelopment has shaped life in areas like Wordsley since 2008. Professional networking events occur during off-peak hours for tradespeople and engineers connected through the West Midlands Metro system. Skill-building workshops led by metalworking technicians are held at former industrial sites now used as training centres, with sessions on modern fabrication methods. All venues are reachable via public transport, including National Cycle Network route 54 or Tipton railway station, though some service inconsistencies may impact arrival times during evening events.
